The additional terms that apply once you publish a contest.
1. Your Paystack subaccount
To take paid votes you must connect a Paystack subaccount in your own name. Your share of every paid vote settles to that subaccount directly, on Paystack's settlement schedule, under Paystack's terms.
VoteSpree cannot bring a settlement forward, delay it, hold it during a dispute, or move money between subaccounts. There is no VoteSpree wallet and no withdrawal request, because there is no custody.
2. Chargebacks are yours
Where a voter disputes a payment and the chargeback is upheld, Paystack debits the amount from your subaccount. This is the trade-off of non-custody: you receive your money immediately and without approval, and you carry the reversal risk that comes with it.
3. Terms lock when the first vote lands
Voting mode, price per vote, vote packs, the contestant revenue share and the closing time lock permanently once the first vote is cast. Somebody has paid money on the strength of those terms and they cannot move underneath them.
Extending the closing time is the one exception, and it is announced to every voter. It can never be pulled in.
4. Sharing vote revenue with contestants
You may choose to pay each contestant a fixed percentage of every paid vote cast for them. Where you do, that share is split at Paystack at the point of sale and settles directly to that contestant's own subaccount, in their own name. VoteSpree does not receive, hold, control or direct it at any point, and cannot recover it from them afterwards.
A contestant's share is earned per vote, not awarded as a prize. It is not conditional on winning, is not held back to the end of the contest, and cannot be escrowed by VoteSpree on your behalf or theirs. A contestant who finishes last keeps everything the votes cast for them earned.
Any prize you advertise remains entirely separate, and entirely your own obligation to fund and deliver. Revenue sharing does not discharge it.
A contestant cannot be voted for until they have supplied their own payout account. Until then their slot is inactive, and if it is still inactive when voting opens it is removed from the line-up.

5. Cancelling
You may cancel a contest at any time. Doing so refunds every paid vote from your subaccount, delists the contest, notifies every voter, and is written to the audit log. Your listing fee is not returned.
Where you shared vote revenue with contestants, the share already settled to a contestant is theirs. VoteSpree cannot claw it back, because it never held it — a cancellation therefore refunds voters out of your own subaccount, including the portion a contestant has already been paid.
6. What you warrant
That you have the right to run the contest; that every contestant has consented to appear and you hold the rights to the images used; that any prize you advertise you can and will deliver; and that you will honour the published vote count as the result.
